RCIA (Rites of Christian Initiation for Adults)

Do you want share your faith and love in God with others?  Please join us. Are you interested in becoming Catholic or do you want to explore more about the Catholic faith?  Consider participating.  This program is for all interested in becoming Catholic, those who have not been baptized or confirmed, or those who wish to more fully explore their faith.  Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is a process through which adults are fully initiated in the Catholic faith community. Catechumens, (those who have been baptized in the Christian church), and Candidates (those who have been baptized and are seeking full communion into the Church) meet for prayer, reflection, scripture study and faith sharing and welcome God's invitation to embrace life in the Catholic Christian Community.  Preparation is divided into various periods that respect the individual's journey of faith.

RCIA is the process through which adults are initiated into the church through the sacraments of baptism, confirmation and Eucharist, and baptized Christians from other denominations come into full communion with the Catholic community. The RCIA team needs active parishioners who are generous with their time to walk with newcomers as they grow in faith and celebrate the sacraments.
